WHO WE ARE

Lwambiyi Kalenga Corporation SARL, in acronyms LK Corporation SARL or LKC SARL, is a Congolese (DRC) company that was founded in 2006 in Likasi, a small town situated 120 Km north-west of Lubumbashi and 180 Km south-east of Kolwezi. It has therefore been operating since then from the former Katanga Province (divided since early 2015 into four different and autonomous provinces (“provincettes”) called the Tanganyika province, the Haut-Lomami province, the Haut-Katanga province, and the Lualaba province) of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, primarily servicing the mining sector through the provision of highly adequate and reliable transportation services for mining companies’ personnel.

Still in the mining industry, LKC SARL had successfully carried out a study on heap leaching in 2004 and a pre-feasibility study on a mining project that is required for the conversion of a research permit into a mining permit in 2011.

In addition to services in the transport and in the metallurgy (process) industries, LKC SARL had undertaken since 2006, a long and meticulous preparation for the launch of its agriculture entity which preparation allows it today to service with confidence the agro-business industry. This preparation consisted of the following:

Choice

The choice of agriculture sectors and products varieties to be exploited, based on nutritional value (quality), feasibility and profitability.

Collection

The collection of data necessary for their exploitation through documentation, laboratory testing, and experimentation.

Prospection

The prospection and acquisition of farming sites suitable for each type of crops.

Selection

The selection and progressive acquisition of appropriate farming equipment.

Development

The development of a marketing strategy and the acquisition of the major tools of this strategy.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the LKC “Agribusiness’’ entity should be operational from the next farming season (2020-2021) in the DRC.

Mr NKULU Mvula Lwambiyi-Kalenga CésarThe Group Chief Executive

Mr. NKULU Mvula LK César is a Congolese citizen (DRC) and a holder of a BSc Eng. Metallurgy degree from the University of Zaire. He served as a senior executive on many mining company’s boards before his appointment as the Group Chief Executive of LKC SARL. He boasts over 35 years of experience as a professional in his field with 20 years at the executive management level. He has worked for various mining companies in the former Katanga and Oriental provinces and therefore has a proven track record in the mining industry of the DRC.

Mr NKULU Lwambiyi-Kalenga Jean-PaulThe Group Chief Financial Officer

Mr NKULU LK Jean-Paul is a Congolese citizen (DRC) and a holder of a BCom degree in Economics with financial management from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. He is a business accountant with the South African Institute of Business Accountant (SAIBA) and a chartered business advisor with the Institute of Business Advisors of Southern Africa (IBASA). He is also a businessman and a company owner with over 14 years of experience both in South Africa and in the DR Congo. He is the Chief Financial Officer of the company and responsible for the company representation in the Republic of South Africa.

Mr MBUYU Lwambiyi-Kalenga Jean-FrançoisThe Group Chief Operating Officer

Mr MBUYU LK Jean-François is a Congolese citizen (DRC) and a holder of a BSc Eng. Metallurgy degree from the University of Lubumbashi in the DRC. He is a businessman and a company owner with over 13 years of experience in the DRC business environment with a particular focus on the former Katanga province. He is the Chief Operations Officer of the company and also represents the company in the Lualaba province.

Mr MALAMBA Lwambiyi-Kalenga YannProject Manager (Construction)

Mr MALAMBA LK Yann is a Congolese citizen (DRC) and a holder of a BA degree in Architecture and Interior Design from the University of Johannesburg in South Africa. He has been involved in the management of various construction projects from architecture plans development to infrastructure erections in the greater Katanga region for the past 5 years since his graduation. He is charge of the management of the company construction (infrastructure) projects and represents LKC SARL in Lubumbashi.
